ABOUT

Established in 2017 by Rebecca and Bryan Hairston. Each have over 15 years experience in the live entertainment industry; and have been designing and touring, in multiple roles, consistently for over 10 years..

Their collective knowledge spanning across live entertainment disciplines broadens their perspectives and approach to design and touring problem solving. Their years of experience have focused their attitudes towards building a professional and pleasurable life while on the road. 

Bryan and Rebecca are proud to create a safe and professional environment for touring professionals and artists of all races, genders, and sexualities. 

THE FOUNDERS

Bryan Hairston

BRYANHAIRSTON 

HEAD OF PRODUCTION 

Started his career at a production company in New York City. Working there for 8 years, he honed his skills in lighting and audio. He moved on to work as part of the house staff at various venues in and around NYC including Joe’s Pub at the Public Theater. He served in multiple positions including Production Manager, Lighting Designer, and Audio Engineer. He then transitioned into the touring world, working with artists such as, songwriter and producer, Citizen Cope; and, electronic duo, Icona Pop where he zeroed in as an Audio Engineer and Lighting Designer.

Shortly after moving to Los Angeles, Bryan along with, partner, Rebecca Hairston founded Hairston Touring Productions. Subsequently, Bryan began designing both lighting and video for a wide array of artists including, pop duo, Timeflies; rock band, The Church; pop and R&B writer/producer, Kenny Babyface Edmonds; and, comedic duo, Rhett & Link. He continued to tour as Production Manager and Front of House Engineer with artists such as, vocal trio, Thirdstory; and, soulful singer songwriter, Kevin Garrett. Today Bryan works with artists looking to integrate finely tuned and well executed production elements into their performances for both stage and screen.

REBECCAHAIRSTON 

CREATIVE DIRECTOR, HEAD OF TOURING 

Completed her education in theatrical design at Brooklyn College and established her career in New York City. She began by stage managing and designing lights for Off-Off and Off Broadway productions in the city. She has toured as a Lighting Designer, Production Stage Manager, Production Manager, & Video Director on theatrical, dance, and live music performances; and was Assistant Lighting Director at Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts before transitioning to Los Angeles.

After moving to LA, she co-founded Hairston Touring Productions with her partner, Bryan Hairston. She primarily designs and manages tours; with her clients ranging from musical acts, to theatre, dance, live podcasts and comedy acts. She has worked with artists such as Samantha Bee, Salem Ilese, Josiah & the Bonnevilles, Stassi Schroeder, Cautious Clay, Timeflies, Thirdstory, Push Baby, Zara Larsson, The Church, Isabella Rossellini, Marc Bamuthi Joseph, and Rhett & Link. Her focus now is on cultivating touring atmospheres that make everyone feel welcome, and conceptualizing imaginative and unique creative designs.

MITCHELLGRAHAM

Mitchell Graham is a Grammy-nominated Audio Engineer, Tour Manager, and Music Producer from Detroit, MI. He has more than 5 years of touring experience and has worked in music venues and recording studios since 2010. He holds a degree in Sound Engineering from the University of Michigan.

MIMIBOWER

Mimi Bower is a Lighting Designer, Lighting Director, and Visual Artist based in Southern California. She got her degree in Theater Stage Management, but found her passion in lighting for live music later on. Her visual work explores themes of the organic versus the abstract and how they can exist as one.

LAURENDEMARTINO

Lauren moved to Los Angeles from Dallas, TX to pursue a career in the music industry. Using her degree in Communications from the University of Arkansas, and her background in producing and creating content, and heading the department of client relations at several corporate branding start ups she has transitioned seamlessly into Tour Management; beginning in 2019.

Lauren has worked with a number of artists during her career in many genres of entertainment including comedy, pop, folk, rock & more. Throughout her Tour Managing career Lauren has also learned new facets of the industry while on the road, such as social media management, website design, accounting, and production set up. Above all else, she prides herself on her interpersonal skills, navigating artists, crew and venue staff to assure every position is looked after and made comfortable.

ANNEKETHOMPSON

Anneke Thompson is a Brooklyn based Video Director, Lighting Designer and Lighting Director. She has earned a BA in Theatrical Scenic Design from Western Washington University, as well as an associates in Music Production at the Catalyst Institute for Creative Arts and Technology Berlin. Anneke is a skilled Lighting Designer known for her work in New York nightclubs. Her professional focus lies in creating captivating lighting experiences that invite the audiences into the visual world of the artist. She is committed to pushing boundaries and exploring innovative ways to integrate lighting and video into the fabric of a design. Anneke Thompson's work reflects a seamless blend of creativity and technical expertise.
